Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Onions (cut into roundels) 5-6
  2. Gram flour (besan). 1 cup
  3. Any lahsun or laung sev 1/2 cup
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  7. salt as per taste
  8. Dry coconut powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Amchur powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. For stuffing:
  2. Grind together the lahsun or laung sev with turmeric powder, coriander powder and dry coconut powder coarsely.
  3. Put this stuffing in between 2 onion roundels and make all the sets in the same way.
  4. Take a bowl and add Besan, salt and chilli powder and make a thin batter to fry the onion dabda.
  5. Now dip each set of stuffed onion roundels into the Besan batter and deep fry them in the hot oil till golden in color.
