No Knead Roshogolla.

Ingredients to make No Knead Roshogolla.

  • 1 litre full fat milk
  • 225 grams curd
  • 2 cardamom whole
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 12 to15 nakul dana
  • 1 tablespoon suji/rawa
  • 1 tablespoon ghee for rolling chenna balls.

How to make No Knead Roshogolla.

  1. Boil the milk and add the curd to curdle the milk and make chenna.
  2. Strain the chenna in a muslin cloth and wash thoroughly under water.
  3. Hang the cloth for 2 hours to drain the excess water.
  4. In a mixer grinder add 1 tablespoon rawa and chenna and run the mixer in low speed for 10 seconds.
  5. Stir and run the mixture for another 10 seconds and then take the mixture out.
  6. Rub some ghee on your palm and make 12-15 balls.
  7. Insert one nakuldana in each ball.
  8. Pour sugar and water in a pressure cooker and bring it to a boil. Add 2 cardamoms.
  9. Add the chenna balls, close the cooker with the lid and cook it for 1 whistle on full flame.
  10. Now reduce the flame and cook it for another 3-4 minutes.
  11. Switch off the gas stove and wait for all the pressure to release.
  12. Voila! Your soft, spongy, juicy roshogolla are ready.
