Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Brown bread 9 slices
  2. Tomato 1 Large
  3. Onion 1 large
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. Peanuts 2 tablespoons
  6. Black mustard seeds 1 teaspoons
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Mango powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  12. oil
  13. chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  14. Curry leaves 5-6
  15. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Cut bread slices into small pieces.
  2. Roast peanuts.
  3. Take a wok and heat oil. Add mustard seeds and when it splutters add curry leaves and onions. Saute till it turns golden brown.
  4. Add tomato, green chillies and stir fry it.
  5. Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, mango powder, salt, red chilli powder and stir it.
  6. Add bread pieces, toss it well and sprinkle few drops of water on bread so that it becomes moist and mixes easily with the masala.
  7. When bread pieces are coated evenly, add lemon juice and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot.
