Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 litre milk
  2. 150 grams sevai
  3. 50 grams sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon ghee
  5. Chopped nuts
  6. 1 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and heat ghee.
  2. Add sevai in it and roast it.
  3. In another vessel boil the milk.
  4. Boil the milk till it thickens stirring occassionally.
  5. Add the roasted sevai in it and stir it well.
  6. Add sugar, mix and let it simmer.
  7. Simmer till the milk is properly thickened.
  8. Add the chopped nuts.
  9. Switch off the flame.
  10. Transfer the kheer in small serving bowls.
  11. Keep in deep freezer to cool it.
  12. When it is chilled serve the kheer garnished with chopped nuts.
