ABOUT Fruit Custard RECIPE

An age old evergreen recipe. I hope many of our parents would have served this dessert in your childhood days. Simple recipe with no fancy ingredients nor fancy techniques. A basic and the simplest recipe to make amongst the desserts.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk - 1½ cup 
  2. Sugar - ¼ cup
  3. Custard powder - 3 teaspoon
  4. Warm milk - 2-3 tablespoon
  5. Fresh cut fruits - 2 cups ( Used green grapes, black grapes, red apples, banana and pomegranate)

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan add the milk, sugar and bring it to boil.
  2. Mix the custard powder with the luke warm milk.
  3. When the milk starts to boil, lower the heat, pour the custard mixture and stir it continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  4. Stir continuously and cook in low heat for around 2-3 minutes till the milk thickens.
  5. Remove from fire, let it cool down and then transfer it to a bowl.
  6. Add the cut fruits, mix well and let it chill it in the refrigerator and serve.
