Chocolate Phirni

Ingredients to make Chocolate Phirni

  • rice 1 cup
  • Full fat milk 3 cups
  • sugar 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons
  • butter 2 tablespoons
  • raisins 2 tablespoons
  • cashews chopped 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

How to make Chocolate Phirni

  1. Take a thick bottomed pan, add 2 cups milk, rice and boil.
  2. Then take another pan, add sugar, little water and allow it to dissolve.
  3. Once sugar dissolves in water, add cocoa powder, butter and stir till it becomes little thick.
  4. Then add 1 cup milk, stir and mix well.
  5. Once rice is cooked well, add the prepared syrup and cook for a minute.
  6. Lastly add vanilla essence and garnish with dry fruits. Serve chilled or hot.
