Ingredients to make Phirni

  • 2 litre Milk
  • 1/2 bowl rice
  • sugar to taste
  • Dry fruit powder
  • A pinch of Ilaichi powder

How to make Phirni

  1. Soak the rice for 10 minutes and grind it into a smooth liquidy paste.
  2. Boil the milk.
  3. Add the rice paste to the boiling milk and stir.
  4. Add sugar to the milk mixture.
  5. Let the milk thicken.
  6. Add the dry fruit powder to it.
  7. Add Ilaichi powder.
  8. Chill and serve.
