ABOUT Quick Sweet Bites RECIPE

Quick recipe made using few easily available ingredients at home. Dry fruits balls or laddus covered with coconut and condensed milk mixture makes this recipe rich. Nutmeg powder and green cardamom powder gives fresh flavor to laddus. It can be consumed in the fasting using grated paneer or roasted sabudana flour instead of flattened poha.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Roasted almonds – 12-14
  2. raisins – 2 tablespoon
  3. dates (deseeded) – 7-8
  4. Roasted White sesame seeds – 1/4th cup
  5. Condensed Milk – 3-4 tablespoon
  6. nutmeg powder – 1/4th teaspoon
  7. Green cardamom Powder – ½ teaspoon
  8. Roasted flattened rice or Poha – 1/4th cup
  9. Fresh Grated coconut – 3/4th cup


  1. Dry roast almonds, white sesame seeds and flattened rice or poha.
  2. Heat a pan and roast grated coconut for not more then 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  3. Add cardamom, nutmeg powder and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add condensed milk slowly at a time until well combined.
  5. Blend flattened rice and add in a coconut mixture. Mix and keep aside.
  6. In a blender, coarsely blend roasted almonds, raisins, dates and add roasted white sesame seeds with a pinch of cardamom, nutmeg powder and mix well.
  7. Make small balls about 1 ½ inch out of dry fruits mixture.
  8. Place a lemon sized coconut dough mixture and press it well between your palms.
  9. Place dry fruits balls in the center of prepared coconut circles. Roll them gently into a perfect round and repeat the procedure with remaining mixture.
  10. Transfer them into airtight container and keep in the refrigerator.
