Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Eggs 3
  2. Sugar 1/4 cup
  3. Milk luke warm 500 millilitre
  4. Vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Sugar for caramel 2-3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. For caramel: In a pan take 3 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon water.
  2. Within a minute it will start bubbling and start changing its colour to brown.
  3. Make sure it doesn't burn. Switch off the gas.
  4. Pour caramelised sugar in an oven safe mould. Let it cool.
  5. In another bowl take 3 eggs and 1/4th cup sugar. Whisk it well till it gets frothy.
  6. Then add vanilla essence and mix well.
  7. Add milk slowly and whisk it again. Milk should be slighly hot.
  8. Strain this mixture and pour it over caramelised sugar.
  9. In a pan take water and keep the mold in it so that steam will generate to bake the custard soft and moist.
  10. Bake it at 375 degree farenhite for 45 minutes.
  11. Let it cool down a bit, then put it in the fridge.
  12. Serve chilled.
