ABOUT Gajar Sabudana Tikki | Carrot Sago Cutlet RECIPE

Yummy Gajar (Carrot) and Sabudana (Sago) Tikki made in the airfryer. Frying without oil in the Philips Airfryer makes it really healthy and takes away all the tension.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled potato – ½ kgs
  2. Bread slices – 2-3 pieces
  3. Soaked sago (Sabudana) – 1 cup
  4. Grated carrot – 1 cup
  5. Salt Red chili powder Dry mango powder – as per taste
  6. Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  7. Crushed groundnuts – 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mash potatoes, add moist bread pieces, soaked sago, grated carrot and all spices. Mix well and lastly add crushed groundnuts.
  2. The material should be firm enough to hold the shape. Ensure that the mixture should not be too soft. Add more bread slices to make it firm.
  3. Prepare cutlets in any desired shape. Brush oil on tikkis. Preheat the airfryer at 180 degrees and keep the cutlets or tikkis in the airfryer at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  4. Once a golden brown crust is achieved, remove from the airfryer. Garnish with onions rings and tomato slices. Top with a little coriander chutney. Serve hot.
