Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Paneer – 1 packet ( 200 grams)
  2. Maida – 1/4 cup
  3. Corn flour – 1/8 cup
  4. Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
  5. Curd – 1 tablespoon
  6. Salt – as needed
  7. Pepper powder – 1/8 teaspoon
  8. Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala – 1/8 teaspoon
  10. Amchur (dry mango powder) – 1/8 teaspoon
  11. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  12. Oil – to fry

Instructions

  1. Take all the ingredients except oil and paneer in a wide bowl. Add little water and make a batter without any lumps. I used a whisk to do this.
  2. The batter should be thick enough to coat the paneer cubes. It should neither be very thick nor very thin. Slice the paneer into rectangular pieces. You can cut into cubes too.
  3. Add all the paneer pieces to the batter. Mix well so that all the pieces coat well. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and drop the marinated paneer pieces. Cook evenly on all sides until golden brown. Drain it in paper towels and serve hot.
