ABOUT Spicy Chicken Masala RECIPE

Hello my dear foodies, today I am sharing a very spicy mouth watering chicken masala recipe. As the name suggests, this dish is packed with Indian spices which makes it both aromatic and spicy. This curry is my favorite dish during winters & rainy evenings. The beauty of this dish is the rustic flavor of this dish which takes me back in time when my uncle used to cook chicken for us in the big earthen pots. It is a combination of color, aroma and taste which makes it a perfect dish.

  12. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  13. 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powde
  14. 300 Grams Chicken
  15. 4 Tblsp Curd
  16. 2 Tblsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  17. 2 Tblsp Everest Chicken Masala
  18. 1 Packet Maggi Bhuna Masala (For Gravy Dishes)
  19. 1 Capsicum
  20. 1 tomato
  21. 1 Onion (Medium Size)
  22. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. First we will have to marinate the chicken so that it gets ready for cooking. Take a big bowl and put chicken pieces, curd, pepper powder, ginger & garlic paste, a pinch of salt, mustard oil (1 tbsp) and chicken masala (1 tbsp).
  2. Mix everything properly and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Take a pan, saute all the whole spices in mustard oil for a minute but make sure the flame is low so that the spices are not burnt. Add Maggi bhuna masala and let it cook for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring so that the paste is not burnt.
  4. After cooking the paste, turn off the stove and keep the paste separately.
  5. Take the same pan used for cooking the spices and add a little more oil for cooking the marinated chicken pieces. Cook chicken pieces for 10 minutes on low flame, add cooked spice paste into it. Mix it well and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add Coriander powder, Everest chicken masala powder and cook it for 10 minutes. Keep it aside in a bowl.
  7. Chop onion, tomato and capsicum in small cubes and saute it in same pan used for cooking chicken. Cook on a high flame which will give it a bit of charred look. Finally add the cooked chicken into it and garnish with coriander leaves.
