Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tuar dal 1 cup
  2. spinach 1 cup
  3. oil 1 tablespoon
  4. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  5. turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. jeera 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Aspheoida ( hing) a pinch
  8. Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Half tomato
  10. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  11. Green chili One or two
  12. Raw mango 1 teaspoon
  13. coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  14. garlic ginger paste 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. First soak tuar ( arhar) dal for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut raw mango into pieces, chop green chillies and chop spinach.
  3. Add all these in cooker, add salt, turmeric powder and hing in it.
  4. Take 3 whistles of pressure cooker.
  5. Now add oil in pan add ginger garlic paste, jeera, mustard seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder, chopped onions in it.
  6. Add tomato pieces.
  7. Pour these spices in cooked dal.
  8. Our dal palak is ready.
