ABOUT Fruit and Nut Cornflakes Payasam RECIPE

This is an easy to make fusion recipe and is cooked using cornflakes, milk, nuts and apple. Impress your loved ones with this delectable sweet dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup plain cornflakes
  2. 500 millilitre milk
  3. 1/2 apple grated
  4. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  5. 1 tablespoon roasted almond flakes
  6. 1 tablespoon roasted raisins
  7. 1 tablespoon roasted chopped cashew
  8. 2 tablespoon sugar or as per taste
  9. 2 teaspoon ghee


  1. Roast the cornflakes in a teaspoon of ghee and set aside.
  2. Let it cool for sometime.
  3. Reserve some cornflakes and grind the remaining to a coarse powder.
  4. Again heat 1 teaspoon ghee. Add apple and roast for 1 minute.
  5. Add milk and sugar. Bring to boil.
  6. Add cornflakes powder, nuts and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish. Decorate with cornflakes, apple slices and serve.
