ABOUT Sudden Death RECIPE

You can't eat just one, it's yum, and simply you will fall in love with this dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For Rabri:
  2. Milk 1 litre
  3. Condensed milk 1 cup
  4. Sugar 1 cup
  5. Chopped almonds 1 teaspoon
  6. Saffron
  7. For gulab jamun:
  8. Milk powder 1 cup
  9. All purpose flour 1 cup
  10. Ghee 2 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon
  11. Maida 1 tablespoon
  12. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  13. 1/1/2 cup sugar
  14. 6 piece poori (pani poori)

Instructions

  1. First prepare rabri:
  2. Heat milk, condensed milk in a heavy bottom pan or wok.
  3. Add sugar, saffron cardamom powder, stir continuously.
  4. 2- begun to heat milk in a low to medium flame till the milk starts to form a layer of cream /malai on top
  5. Stir continuously till the milk remains 1/4 th.
  6. Now turn off the flame.
  7. Pour rabri in to a bowl and set aside.
  8. Prepare gulab jamun and sugar syrup:
  9. For syrup, cook the sugar with water in a pan till the sugar dissolves and turns into one string consistency.
  10. Add cardamom powder, lemon juice.
  11. The syrup is ready.
  12. For gulab jamun:
  13. Mix together milk powder, all purpose flour, soda, baking powder.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Add ghee and mix well.
  16. Add 1 teaspoon curd and knead tightly in to a soft dough.
  17. Add water gradually in small quantities to knead dough, if needed, like in this image.
  18. Divide the dough into marble sized balls.
  19. Heat oil/ghee in a pan or kadai.
  20. Deep fry the balls over medium heat.
  21. Stirring occasionally till golden brown.
  22. Drain on absorbent paper.
  23. Add the gulab jamun to the warm syrup and leave to soak for about 15-30 minutes or till you serve.
  24. Gulab jamun is ready.
  25. Final preparation:
  26. Collect all the things at one place.
  27. Make a hole in a poori.
  28. Fill jamun in each poori when you want to eat.
  29. Now fill rabri in poori.
  30. Garnish with few chocolate drops.
  31. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
