Enjoy this very simple, yet tasty and yum Rasogullas made with milk, suji/rava, sugar and cooked with ease as well. Love it if you make it!:thumbsup::blush:

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup suji /rava
  2. 4 cups milk (measuring same cup as suji)
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. 2 tablespoon ghee
  5. 1 teaspoon ghee to grease palm
  6. 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds
  7. 1 1/2 cup sugar grains
  8. Chopped cashews, raisins, almonds and pistachios for filling and garnish as available


  1. Boil milk in a wide non stick pan.
  2. Add ghee as the milk boils and stir well.
  3. Now add the powdered sugar and stir well.
  4. Start adding the suji/rava bit by bit stirring on slow flame continuously.
  5. As suji starts swelling mix well.
  6. After the suji fully swells take out on a thali to let it cool.
  7. Now keep 2 1/2 cups or 3 cups water to heat in a pot.
  8. Add the sugar grains in the water and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  9. Add cardamom to water too.
  10. Now as the suji is cool start making Rasogullas, portion out of the ready suji.
  11. Grease palm, take portion, flatten out suji portion and start filling with the dry fruits.
  12. Close lightly greasing palms with ghee into balls and keep aside.
  13. Now heat the ready water sugar syrup a little and leave the Rasogullas balls in it.
  14. Cook 3-5 minutes in it on slow fire.
  15. Remove carefully in serving dish and garnish with dry fruits.
