Easy delicious kashmiri naan stuffed with mawa, almond, cashew along with sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups All purpose flour
  2. 1/4 cup curd
  3. 1/2 Teaspoon sugar
  4. 1/2 cup warm milk
  5. 2 tablespoon ghee
  6. salt
  7. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  8. For stuffing:
  9. 1/4 cup unsweetend khoya/mawa grated
  10. 2 tablespoon almond powder
  11. 2 tablespoon cashew powder
  12. 1 teaspoon powder sugar
  13. salt
  14. 1/4 tsp Dry ginger Powder
  15. 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  16. tutti frutti for garnishing


  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
  2. Take this in a bowl and make a dent in the middle.
  3. Add curd, warm milk and sugar in the dent.
  4. Using fingers bring together all ingredients and make a soft dough.
  5. Apply oil on the dough, cover it and leave it for 3-4 hours.
  6. For making stuffing, mix all stuffing ingredients in a bowl.
  7. Stuffing is ready.
  8. When you are ready to make naan apply oil in hands and knead gently.
  9. Take lemon sized ball and roll out into small disk.
  10. Place the stuffing and cover all the sides like kachori.
  11. Roll out naan dust it as needed.
  12. Sprinkle tutti fruti and just press it with rolling pin.
  13. Apply water on another side.
  14. Heat a cast iron skillet over high flame till it is very hot.
  15. Place naan on to the skillet. Put water side naan over tawa.
  16. Once naan start bubbling and dough start drying turn the tawa over flame keeping about 2 inch away from the flame.
  17. Once browned remove and spread ghee.
  18. Naan is ready. Apply ghee and serve.
