Milk is filled with protein and making kids drink milk is a difficult task. The best way of making them consume milk is by mixing in rice , this recipe is just perfect to explain the entire procedure. It is a must try and a delicious recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati Rice- 1 Cup ( washed and clean)
  2. Water- 1 cup
  3. Milk -1 1/2 cup ( hot )
  4. Ghee- 3 tablespoon
  5. Pepper- 10
  6. Cardamom- 6
  7. Clove- 6
  8. Black cardamom- 1
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Sugar- 2 teaspoon
  11. Cherry and Pudina (mint ) leaf for decoration

Instructions

  1. Heat the water in a vessel, add rice and salt in it and boil for 2 minutes. Add hot milk and cook for 10 more minutes. When the rice is 80% done remove the cover add sugar and stir it.
  2. Heat another pan, add ghee then add one by one all the spices stir it for 1 minute then immediately add this into the rice and mix properly.
  3. Then take the vessel off the fire. Cover it for at least 10 minutes. After that garnish with cherry and pudina pata ( mint leaf )
