ABOUT Methi Malai Lobsters RECIPE

Malai curry is a famous Bengali dish made with coconut milk, but here fresh cream and kasuri methi were used in place of coconut milk. Came out awesome and delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Clean lobsters - 8
  2. Grated onion - 1
  3. ginger Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon
  4. Kasuri methi - 1 tablespoon
  5. cinnamon sticks- 1
  6. cardamom - 3
  7. clove - 3
  8. Freshcream - 1/2 cup
  9. Chopped tomato - 1
  10. turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  11. Red chilly powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon
  12. sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  13. oil
  14. salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and fry the lobsters and keep aside.
  2. Add whole spices. Add onion paste after spices crackle.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped tomato.
  4. Add all dry masalas and cook till oil comes out from the side and add water.
  5. Add fried lobsters into boiling gravy.
  6. Add fresh cream and mix well.
  7. Cook for 2 minutes and add kasuri methi. Dish is ready.
