ABOUT KADAI PANEER RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 250 grams paneer cubes
  2. 2 capsicum, cut in cubes
  3. 1 big onion, cut in cubes
  4. 1 big tomato, cut in cubes, deseeded
  5. 1 onion roughly chopped
  6. 2 big onions, grind into paste
  7. 4 tomatoes, grind into paste
  8. 1 tablespoon ginger green chillies paste
  9. 3 tablespoon oil
  10. 1 teaspoon jeera
  11. 3 cloves
  12. 1 cinnamon stick
  13. 2 green elaichi
  14. 1 mace flower
  15. 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
  16. 2 teaspoon dhania powder
  17. 1 /4 teaspoon haldi
  18. 1 teaspoon kitchen king masala
  19. pinch of garam masala
  20. pinch of elaichi powder
  21. 1 tablespoon kasoori methi
  22. 2 tablespoon malai
  23. 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a kadai put tomato puree and cook on low heat.
  2. Cook it until all the moisture evaporates.
  3. Take out the cooked tomato paste in a bowl, in the same kadai put some oil and cook onion paste until becomes brown.
  4. In another pan heat a tablespoon of oil and roast capsicum cubes and onion cubes separately and keep them aside.
  5. In the same pan heat oil on low heat and add jeera, cinnamon, cloves, elaichi and mace flower, let them splutter.
  6. Then add chopped onion and let it cook.
  7. Cook it, until it becomes light brown.
  8. Then add haldi, red chilly powder and dhania powder.
  9. Then add brown onion paste and ginger green chillies paste.
  10. Mix well and add kasoori methi.
  11. Then add tomato paste and mix well.
  12. The masala is ready.
  13. Then add malai and cook until the oil comes out.
  14. Then add milk and let it cook on low heat, stirring continuously.
  15. Cook until it blends nicely with all the masala.
  16. Now add paneer cubes, capsicum, onion and tomato cubes to the gravy.
  17. Mix well and let it cook on low heat.
  18. Now add elaichi powder, garam masala and kitchen king masala and mix well, the sabji is ready.
