ABOUT Mango Yogurt RECIPE

Very famous dish of Bengal- Aam Doi.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cup Cow milk
  2. 2 tablespoon Hung curd
  3. Sugar to taste
  4. 2 Ripe mangoes

Instructions

  1. Reduce the milk 2/3rd by continuously stirring.
  2. Cut mango pieces and grind well to make pulp.
  3. After 10-15 minutes add mango pulp, hung curd and sugar. Mix well.
  4. Pour this mixture in an earthen pot.
  5. Place a handi on gas oven. Place a stand inside it. Then keep one plate on stand.
  6. Now pour 1 cup of water into hundi. Place the earthen pot on plate.
  7. Cover the handi with a lid. Bake for 1 hour at low flame.
  8. After cooling down, put the earthen pot in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  9. Garnish with mint leaves and saffron.
  10. Serve mango yogurt.
