Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken- 500 grams
  2. ginger Paste- 2 tablespoon
  3. garlic Paste – 2 tablespoon
  4. Onion- 2 big size (Chopped)
  5. onion paste- 1 medium size
  6. tomato – 2 small size (chopped)
  7. yogurt - 60 grams
  8. turmeric Powder – 3 teaspoon
  9. Red chili Powder – 4 teaspoon
  10. cumin Powder – 2 teaspoon
  11. coriander Powder – 2 teaspoon
  12. Kasuri methi – 1 tablespoon (crushed)
  13. Green chili paste- 4-5
  14. cashew nut paste – 5-6 nuts
  15. Garam Mashala powder – 2 teaspoon
  16. cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
  17. Bay leaf - 1
  18. mustard Oil – 5-6 tablespoon
  19. salt – as per taste
  20. Sugar- 1 teaspoon
  21. Fresh cream – 2 tablespoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken pieces, then marinate them with 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of all powder spices. Add 1 tablespoon oil to it and rest it for 1 hour.
  2. Now take a handi then add remaining oil, cinnamon stick and sugar then allow it to hot.
  3. Now add onion to it fry it till it golden brown color appears.
  4. Then add the remaining ginger garlic paste and green chilly paste and stir it.
  5. Now add chopped tomato, fry it and after 2 minutes then cover it with a lid.
  6. Now add powdered spices except garam mashala and stir it till the oil gets separated.
  7. Now add bitten yogurt and cashew nut paste to it then stir it again.
  8. Add 1 teaspoon garam masala to it then mix it properly.
  9. Add chicken pieces and mix properly and cover it with a lid.
  10. Then add crushed kasuri methi, silted green chili and salt as per taste.
  11. Stir it time and again 5-6 minutes.
  12. Now open the lid after 20 minutes, check the seasoning and check the chicken if cooked properly or not.
  13. Now add the remaining garam masala and fresh cream then mix it.
  14. Enjoy your dhaba style chicken curry with rumali roti.
