Leftover Rice Tadka

Ingredients to make Leftover Rice Tadka

  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 1 capsicum (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup cabbage (grated)
  • 2 - 3 tea spoon salt or according to taste
  • 1 tea spoon black pepper
  • 1 tea spoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon soy sauce
  • 1 tea spoon lemon juice or vinegar
  • 1 tea spoon chopped garlic
  • 2 green chillies (chopped)
  • 3 cups of rice

How to make Leftover Rice Tadka

  1. Heat some oil and add garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.
  2. Add onions and green chillies.Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add capsicum, cabbage, peas and sauté for 3- 4 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, salt, black pepper, cumin powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add leftover rice and vinegar. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander.
