Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Semolina 1 cup
  2. Curd 1/2 cup
  3. Warm water 3 cups
  4. Mixed vegetable of your choice 2 cups finely chopped
  5. sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  8. urad dal 1 teaspoon
  9. Curry Leaves 8 to 10
  10. pomegranate for garnishing
  11. Peanuts 2 teaspoons
  12. green peas 1 tablespoon
  13. Whole red chilly 1
  14. Oil 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Required ingredient for tempering like whole red chilly,chana dal,urad dal,curry leaves, chopped green chillies,green peas,carrot and onion
  2. Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,let them crackle.Now add both dals and peanuts...saute for a while and add whole red chilly,curry leaves and mixed veggies.
  3. Cook covered for some time
  4. Add Suji/Semolina and dry roast for some time
  5. Add curd and warm water.Adjust sugar and salt.
  6. Mix well and cook covered for some time.
  7. Garnish with tomato sauce and pomegranate seeds ...Kids going to love this.
