Tasty n healthy Moong Dal Parathas with a Dollop of Butter

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup Green moong dal
  2. 1 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
  3. 2 medium size boiled n mashed potatoes
  4. 1 finely chopped onion
  5. Few coriander leaves
  6. 2 tsp coriander powder
  7. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  8. 1 tsp Powdered sugar
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. 2 tsp oil
  11. 1 tsp dried mango powder
  12. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  13. salt as per taste
  14. Oil for making parathas
  15. water to knead dough
  16. Butter to serve

Instructions

  1. Soak green moong dal for an hour.
  2. Grind coarsely in a grinder.
  3. Take 1 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour.
  4. Add the grinded moong dal
  5. Add mashed potatoes n chopped onions.
  6. Add all the spices n coriander leaves.
  7. Add 2 tsp oil.
  8. Knead into a soft dough by mixing the ingredients properly.
  9. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  10. Make parathas n serve with a dollop of butter.
