ABOUT Sindhi Sana Pakora RECIPE

Sindhi sana pakora is very wellknown dish of Sindhis, which is double fried. People usually enjoy this dish in rainy season or as a side dish in for dinner.It is perfect blend of onions,green chillies,green coriander and Besan. It is served with green chutney or imli and dates chutney. You can even serve it simply with tomato ketchup. Many people include bread and onion chutney with this dish to make it more yummy! It is easy to make and perfect for high tea snacks too along with tea you have guest at your place !

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Besan 2 cups
  2. 1 and half cup finely chopped onions
  3. 5-6 finely chopped green chillies
  4. Finely chopped green Coriander leaves
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chilly ppwder 1teaspoon
  7. Hot oil 2 tsp
  8. a pinch of soda
  9. 1 teaspoon of pomogranate seeds (optional)
  10. Water as needed to make thick batter like cake's batter

Instructions

  1. Take a mixing bowl.
  2. Add Besan,Chopped onions, green chillies, Coriander,salt,chilly powder,pomogranate seeds and oil in mixing bowl. Mix it well
  3. Add a pinch of soda.T hen add little water to make thick batter as shown in below picture
  4. Now heat oil in a pan. put little little batter separately in pan with the help of spoon
  5. Remove it out in 1 minute, fry till golden yellow and keep them in one dish.
  6. Now this pakodas are fried one time.For second time frying we need to break this into medium size pieces as shown in picture.
  7. After breaking them into medium size pieces, fry second time till it's color changes to golden brown as shown in picture.
  8. Your Sindhi sana pokodas are ready to serve .
