Ingredients to make Lasagna

  • Lasagna sheets
  • 1 cup white sauce
  • 1 cup red salsa sauce
  • 1 small onion sliced or spring onions
  • 1 medium carrot or brocolli
  • 1/4 cup corn
  • 1 cup tofu cubed or mushroom
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup capsicum
  • 2 tbspn olive oil
  • 1 tspn oregano or basil
  • 2 tspn chilles crushed
  • 1 tspn soya
  • salt to taste
  • Mozarella cheese
  • Black pepper
  • 1 cup spinach
  • For white sauce: 1 cup milk; 1 tbspn maida; 1 tsp butter; salt & black pepper
  • For red salsa sauce: 2 cups tomato puree; 1 med onion; 1 tsp garlic crushed; 4 tbspn tomato ketchup;celery leaves; black pepper; 2 tbspn oil

How to make Lasagna

  1. White sauce: Melt butter in heavy pan, add maida stir on a low flame until good aroma then add milk & spices. Keep stirring till thick
  2. Red salsa sauce: Heat oil, add garlic, onion, saute 1 min, add tomato puree, ketchup, salt, pepper, chopped celery ; cook till thickens
  3. Boil lasagna sheets with salt & 1 tspn oil
  4. In a pan heat oil, add garlic, add sliced onion saute for 1 minute
  5. Add carrot, corn, chillies, capsicum & salt to taste
  6. Cook on low flame for 2- 3 minutes
  7. Add herbs, black pepper.
  8. Remove & keep aside
  9. To assemble take a large pyrex dish ; arrange a layer of lasagna sheets covering the base;
  10. Spread vegetable mix;
  11. Arrange second layer of lasagna sheets;
  12. Spread vegetable mix;
  13. Top it up with read salsa sauce;
  14. Arrange third layer of lasagna sheets;
  15. Spread vegetable mix;
  16. Top it up with white sauce;
  17. Garnish with grated cheese on top
  18. Bake @ 150° for 15 minutes. Or till you see cheese melts and turns gloden brown ..
  19. Serve hot! :yum:
