Its a very famous north indian side dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Long thin brinjals....8pcs
  2. Red chilli powder....1 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder....1/2 tsp
  4. Garam masala.....1 tsp
  5. Saunf powder....2 tsp
  6. Salt ....1 tsp
  7. Refine oil....1 1/2 tsp
  8. Oil....1 tsp for cooking

Instructions

  1. Wash brinjals thoroughly and dry them.
  2. Prepare stuffing by mixing red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, saunf powder, salt and oil.
  3. Slit the brinjals carefully vertically. Don't cut it completely.
  4. Fill the brinjals with the stuffing prepared.
  5. Take a kadhai. Add oil. Put brinjals in it. Cover it. Cook on slow flame for 8-10 minutes or till brinjals softens.
  6. Serve with roti or rice.
