Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Mango 1 [I took alphonso ]
  2. Milk 1/2litr
  3. Curd 2tbsp optional
  4. Khoya 100 gms
  5. Sugar 2tbsp optional
  6. Ghee for grease plate

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the mangoes, make a puree of the same.
  2. Then mix it with half litr milk and boil it.
  3. When the milk starts boiling, it will curdle the milk. If it does not curdle, then add 2 tbsp of curd to curdle the same.
  4. Strain the above and tie in a cloth for sometime.
  5. For barfi ,take 100 gms khoya and grate it.
  6. In a pan, boil 1 cup of milk, add khoya and mix it well.
  7. Mash the mango paneer with hand and add with khoya and stir it continuously.
  8. grease a plate with ghee .
  9. When it will starts to leave the side, pour the mixture on to the plate and level it.
  10. Keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hrs. After 2 hrs cut the barfis.
