ABOUT Paneer Tikka Masala(yellow gravy) RECIPE

A yummy and mouthwatering paneer dish that can be served with naan or kulchas or with some jeera rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer -250gm.
  2. Onion-4
  3. Capsicum -1
  4. Tomato-2
  5. Curd -1bowl
  6. Green Chilli-4
  7. Chipped ginger-1tbsp
  8. Kajupaste-4tbsp
  9. Cream-2tbsp
  10. Haldi powder [turmeric powder] - 1 tbsp
  11. Chilli powder -1tbsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste -2tbsp
  13. Dhania [coriander] powder- 2 tbsp
  14. Garam masala powder-1tbsp
  15. Jeera [cumin] powder-1/2 tbsp
  16. Chilli flakes -1/2tbsp
  17. Kasoori methi -1/2 tbsp
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Refined oil 2+butter-1tbsp
  20. Mustard oil-1tbsp

Instructions

  1. These are the ingredients for marination.
  2. Marinate the paneer with the ingredients of marination for 2-3 hours.
  3. Now heat a pan with some oil and shallow fry the marinated paneer and other ingredients along with it.
  4. These are the ingredients for the gravy.
  5. These are the dry masala powders that need to be used.
  6. Heat a pan with some oil and add the cumin seeds.
  7. Add chopped onion
  8. Add chopped tomato
  9. Add ginger garlic paste
  10. And greenchilli
  11. Add dry masala
  12. Add the cashew paste.
  13. Fry well
  14. Add cream
  15. Add fried paneer and the veggies.
  16. Add a cup of water
  17. Yellow gravy paneer tikka masala is ready to be served.
  18. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
