Lovely, delicious and spicy bread pakodas for evening snacks with the tea.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Bread 1 packet
  2. Boiled potatoes 8-10
  3. Besan 250 gm
  4. Kasoori methi 2 tsp
  5. Coriander leaves [chopped] 2 tbsp
  6. green chilies 3-4 (chopped)
  7. Salt [ as per taste]
  8. fennel seeds powder - 4 tsp
  9. red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  10. Dry mango powder - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread slices into round shapes using a cookie cutter and dip the ends with little water.
  2. Now mash the boiled potatoes and mix all the powdered masalas to it, fill the bread slices with the masala potato.
  3. Now make the besan batter with some water and salt, of semi thick consistency.
  4. now heat ample amount of oil in a kadhai.
  5. Now dip the stuffed bread slices in the batter and deep fry them in the hot oil.
  6. Fry them well and serve them with chutney or tomato sauce.
