ABOUT Bread Pakode RECIPE

Bread pakode are very famous in the northern part of India. Spicy potatoes, sandwiched between slices of bread and then dipped in the batter, deep fried.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled and mashed potatoes 1 bowl
  2. Chopped onion 1/2 bowl
  3. Bread slices 4 pieces
  4. Besan 1 bowl
  5. Garlic paste 1 tea spoon
  6. Ginger chilli paste 1 tea spoon
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Water as required
  9. Lemon juice 1tea spoon
  10. Sugar 1 table spoon
  11. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Take potatoes. Add onion, salt, sugar, lemon juice and garlic chilli paste. Mixed it properly.
  2. Take one slice of bread and apply above mixture in it and cover it with another slice of bread.
  3. Now make batter of Besan using Besan, water and garlic paste. Make a thick batter.
  4. Now dip that stuffed bread in to batter and deep fry it.
  5. Serve with ketchup.
