Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup sooji/rava
  2. 1 cup rice atta
  3. 3-4 cup water
  4. 2 tsp ginger green chilli paste
  5. 2 tbsp White sesame seeds
  6. 1 big onion chopped (optional)
  7. 2 tablespoon broken cashews (optional)
  8. 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves/cilantro
  9. 2 tbsp ghee
  10. salt to taste
  11. coconut chutney

Instructions

  1. Mix the rice atta and rawa in a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients except for water and onion and mix well. Now slowly add water and mix to avoid any lumps. The consistency of the batter should be thinner than dosa batter (like kadi).
  2. Heat a non stick tawa and grease with butter. Now with the help of a edgy bowl pour the batter from the inside of the tawa to the outside.
  3. Keep the tawa on low flame when pouring the batter. Once the batter is spread cook the dosa on high flame. While pouring the batter, make ensure to mix the batter well. (The atta tends to settle).
  4. Now spread butter and onion on the top. Remove the dosa carefully with the spatula and serve hot with coconut chutney.
