Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh coconut grated-1 ,
  2. besan-75 grams,
  3. rice flour-25 grams,
  4. one medium onion chopped,
  5. chopped green chili-3-4,
  6. chopped garlic- 5-6 clove
  7. baking soda-1/4 tsp ,
  8. garlic powder-1/4 tsp ,
  9. onion powder-1/4 tsp ,
  10. chopped ginger -1/2 inch ,
  11. black pepper [crushed] -1/4 tsp
  12. salt according to taste,
  13. chopped coriander ,
  14. red chili powder -1 tsp
  15. basil-1/4 tsp ,
  16. tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
  17. oil for fry

Instructions

  1. First chop onion , garlic , green chili ,and coriander leaves . Now peel fresh coconut and grate it. Now heat a pan with some oil, add chopped onion, garlic ,ginger ,green chili ,coriander leaves, grated coconut ,all masalas and salt, take it out into a bowl, cool it for a bit.
  2. Now mix besan ,rice flour and baking soda into it. Add 1/2 cup water . Make a thick pakode batter. Add basil .
  3. Now heat oil . Drop the pakode in the hot oil, fry on a medium flame. serve.
