Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk powder - 1 cup
  2. semolina 1/4 th cup
  3. butter 2-3 tbsp
  4. almond and cashew nuts [powdered] - 1/4 th cup
  5. Milk 1 cup
  6. For syrup ,Sugar 2 cup
  7. water 1 and 1/4cup
  8. cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  9. salt a pinch
  10. For frying, ghee 1/2 cup


  1. Mix all the ingredients except the sugar, water and ghee, together to form a soft dough.
  2. Rest it for 5 minutes.
  3. Now make a sugar syrup with the sugar and the water, of one string consistency.
  4. Now divide the dough into small balls, and also heat ample amount of ghee in a kadhai.
  5. Now drop the balls into the ghee, fry them on a medium heat. Fry them until golden brown in color.
  6. Strain them and keep aside.
  7. Do the same for rest of the balls.
  8. Now dip the balls into the syrup. Let them soak well.
  9. Let it be 30 minutes or more to absorb syrup by closing vessel
  10. Now ready to be served.
