rajma beans-1 cup
salt - as per our taste
chilli powder-2 spoons
Channa madala-1 spoon
Garam masala- 1/2 spoon
Cloves-3
cinnamon stick - small piece
Elachi- 2
ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp
Instructions
Soak rajma in water overnight
When ready to cook, in a pressure cooker, add little oil and ghee.
Now add elachi, cloves, cinnamon and add onions and fry for 5 min.
Now add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 min.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes or tomato juice( blend in mixie jar) and add channa masala, coriander powder, garam masala , salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and cook till gravy is thick.
Now add rajma beans along with little water and close pressure cooker lid and cook for 10 whistles.
After 10 min, open the pressure cooker and transfer the rajma masala into serving dish.
Serve hot with chapathi or pulav.
