Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lotus flowers seed(Makhane) - 1 cup
  2. Chopped coriander - 1 table spoon
  3. Youghurt - 2 cups
  4. Chat masala-1 tea spoon
  5. Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon
  6. Salt according to the taste
  7. Paneer-1/2 cup
  8. Mint chutney-1 tablespoon
  9. pomegranate seeds - 1 Tbsp
  10. Basil powder - 1 teaspoon


  1. Tie the curd  in a muslin cloth and leave it hanging for at least 3-4 hours or till all the water drains out
  2. Collect this thick curd in a bowl, add chilli powder, Chaat masala,salt, garam masala and chopped coriander to it.
  3. Churn the lotus seeds in a mixer for 2-3 minutes to get a fine powder.
  4. Add the lotus seeds powder in the curd.
  5. Preparing the stuffing -
  6. Add grated Paneer to a mint chutney, add garam masala, Chaat masala, salt, basil powder and pomegranate seeds.
  7. Very diligently portion the curd mixture and stuff the Paneer mixture, seal it properly.
  8. Use some refined flour to give it a shape of tikki.
  9. On a hot skillet pour some ghee, pan fry these kababs till golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
