Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the dal-
  2. 1cup chana dal
  3. 1tsp haldi
  4. 1 tsp lal mirchi powder
  5. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  6. 1tsp amchur powder
  7. 1tsp jeera
  8. for pakwaan-
  9. 1cup maida
  10. ajwain- 1/4 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. OIl- 2 tbsp
  13. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Boil dal with haldi and salt.
  2. Add masalas to the dal. Take oil in pan
  3. Add jeera and let pop, pour this tadka on top of dal.
  4. Make dough for pakwaan except oil.
  5. Make balls and roll it like a roti.
  6. Prick it with fork and fry it till golden.

sounds like a good sindhi dish! would love to see more such recipes and the image of this as well :)

I love this dish! Thanks for sharing. I recently had a version where they added Saunth and papadis in the Dal Pakwaan and the result was fabulous!
