Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Green moong dal [soaked] - 1 cup
  2. Fresh green peas - 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Green chilli - 2
  5. Small piece ginger
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  8. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
  9. coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Chopped onion - 1
  11. Tomatoes [chopped] - 1
  12. Coriander leaves
  13. Grated paneer - 1/2 cup
  14. Oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Take soaked Moong dal, green chilli ginger, peas and grind them together with 1/2 cup of water.
  2. Roasted the whole masalas and dry grind it, add to the batter.
  3. These are toppings to be spread onto the chilla.
  4. Heat a tawa and grease it with some oil.
  5. Now pour a ladle of the wet batter onto the tawa, spread it a bit, now sprinkle the onion, tomatoes and grated paneer.
  6. Cook both sides, with little oil.
  7. Serve with red and green chatni
