This is a beautiful dessert which we can prepare to surprise guests, an easy recipe but a tricky one. After frying the balls, it will have a hot crust and a slightly cold and melted icecream inside which is absolutely yummy!

  4. 1/2 cup Dessicated Coconut
  5. 1 tsp cinnamon Powder

  1. Scoop out medium sized balls of ice cream, place them in a tray lined with wax paper. Freeze for 1 hour till they are very hard.
  2. Crush the corn flakes by hand. Add the dessicated coconut and cinnamon powder to this, mix well with hands.
  3. Take out the ice cream balls and roll them in this corn flakes mixture.Roll it fast and keep them in the freezer for another 1 hour.
  4. Slightly beat the egg in it. Now take out the balls and dip each ball in the egg, then in cornflakes mixture and roll it well with hand. Shape these in balls.
  5. Repeat with all the balls and freeze for another 1 or 2 hours. (If you want a thicker crust you have to repeat this step again after 1 hour. )
  6. Heat the oil very hot. Fry each balls for 6 to 10 seconds. Just the outer covering should be crispy. Drain out the excess oil very soon.
