Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken tangri pieces- 6
  2. Marination:
  3. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  4. Paprika powder- 1 & 1/2 tbsp
  5. Salt- to taste
  6. Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
  7. Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
  8. Nutmeg & mace powder- 1/4 tsp
  9. Lemon juice- 2 lemons
  10. Thymes- 1 tbsp
  11. For coating:
  12. All purpose flour- 1 cup
  13. Salt- to taste
  14. Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  15. Egg- 1
  16. Bread crumbs- 2 cups
  17. oil- for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken properly. Drain it. Put marks on the chicken using knife.
  2. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, salt & lemon juice. Put it aside for at least 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl add coriander powder, paprika powder, garam masala, thymes & nutmeg & mace powder. Mix it well.
  4. Add tangri pieces in this dry mixture & mix very well. Use your hand to rub the masala all over chicken pieces. Keep it aside for another 30 minutes.
  5. Now put them in a microwave mode at 200 degree on 360 temperature for just 8 to 10 minutes. Or you can pressure cook them till you get one whistle.
  6. Take them out on a plate. You will see chicken has left much water. Don't throw it.
  7. In a bowl add all purpose flour, salt & black pepper powder. Mix well.
  8. In another bowl break the egg. Add that water (which chicken has left). Beat it.
  9. Now heat oil in a pan. Take a tangri piece. Roll it in maida/all purpose flour then dip it in egg & finally roll in the bread crumbs.
  10. In a hot oil place tangri pieces one by one carefully. Fry it till you see brown golden color from both the sides.
  11. Place it on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  12. Serve it hot with lemon onion salad.
