ABOUT Mushti Dosa RECIPE

This is a soft pancake using soaked and ground rice, lentils and flattened rice.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Rice 2 cups
  2. Urad dal 3/4 cup
  3. Methi dana 1/2 tsp
  4. Flattened rice (poha) 1 cup
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Soak all the ingredients except poha for 6-8 hrs
  2. Wash poha just before grinding
  3. Grind together all the ingredients to a fine paste
  4. Keep in warm place for fermenting for 6-7 hours or overnight
  5. Add salt
  6. Heat a non stick tava and pour a ladleful mixture on it.
  7. Let it spread by itself
  8. Fine holes will start appearing
  9. Cover the dosa for a few minutes
  10. Drizzle the oil from sides
  11. Flip to other side
  12. Serve with coconut or tomato chutney as per your choice
