Kababs are always hit party recipe though veg. Or non veg. I love to make kebab in healthy ,baked, roasted, or less oil used. Soya seekh kebabs are best healthy option for vegetarians..

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups boiled potatoes
  2. 1 cup soya granules
  3. 1 medium size onion finelly chopped
  4. 1 /4 cup boiled peas
  5. 1 tbsp ginger chilli paste
  6. 1/4 cup mix bell pepper finely chopped
  7. Spices:
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  10. 1 tsp garam masala
  11. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1 tsp cumin powder
  13. 1 tsp chaat masala
  14. 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  15. oil for shallow fry

Instructions

  1. First boil potatoes as usual till soft. Peel the skin and mash it.
  2. Collect all ingredients
  3. Grind soya chunks or use fine soya granules. Soak it in water for 15 minutes.. Squeeze all water from soya granules.
  4. In a big bowl add mashed potatoes, chopped onion, bell peppers, capsicum, boiled peas, and soya granules
  5. Add all spices. Red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, chaat masala, cumin powder, amchur powder. Adjust spices
  6. Mix all together..Take seekh or skewers, or chopsticks, and take mixture and adjust it around seekh. Or make rolls out of mixture and shallow fry it on griller.
  7. Grill it or bake it if you want healthier version.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or spicy green chutney.
