Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Manchurian Balls
  2. 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  3. 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  4. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  5. 1 Tbsp ginger garlic, chilly paste
  6. 1/2 cup green chutney
  7. 2 cup bread crumbs
  8. 2 tbs cornflour
  9. Cheez cubs(optional)
  10. Salt to taste
  11. For Gravy
  12. 1 Cup Coconut Milk
  13. 2 tbsp oil
  14. 2 tbsp finely chopped lemon grass
  15. 1 cup chopped coriander
  16. 1/4 cup roughly chopped onions
  17. 1 tbsp roughly chopped garlic
  18. 5 Green chillies
  19. 1 tbs coriander powder
  20. 2 tbs ground black peppercorns
  21. 25 ginger
  22. 1 tbsp sugar(optional)
  23. Salt to taste
  24. 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  25. For garnishing
  26. 2 tbsp salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. For Manchurian balls
  2. Take all chopped vegetables in bowl.
  3. Add bread crumbs, chutney and all remaining ingredients.(you can add more bread crumbs if needed)
  4. Mix well and make a equal size of balls.
  5. Now take one ball and press it lightly by your palm.
  6. Put cheese cube and again make a ball.
  7. Make all remaining balls in same way.
  8. Now deep fry all balls in medium flame till become golden brown.
  9. For gravy
  10. Combine all the ingredients (except coconut milk) and blend in a mixer to a fine past,using enough water (approx 1/2 cup).Keep aside.
  11. How to proceed
  12. Heat the oil in broad nom-stic pan, add the grean greavy past and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  13. Add the coconut milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
  14. Now add salt and mix well.
  15. Now add Manchurian balls and cook for 2 minutes on a high flame and mix well.
  16. Garnish with salted peanuts.
  17. Your Thai Manchurian is ready to eat.
  18. Serve hot with steamed rice.
