ABOUT METHI PANEER RECIPE

This Paneer dish is flavourful n spicy..It can add sparkle to any dinner or lunch party.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Paneer cubed - 500 gms
  2. Onions minced - 2 no.s
  3. Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  4. Tomatoes pureed - 3 no.s
  5. Kasuri Methi - 1 tbsp
  6. Tomato ketchup -1 tsp
  7. Jeera sabut - 1 tsp
  8. Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
  9. Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
  10. Red chillies dry sabut - 2 no
  11. Red chillie powder - 1/2 tsp
  12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  15. Laung - 2-3 cloves
  16. Javitri - 1 cluster
  17. Bayleaf - 1 no
  18. Fresh malai - 1/2 cup
  19. Ghee/Refined oil - 2 tbsp
  20. For garnishing :
  21. fresh chopped coriander
  22. Leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil/ ghee in a pan
  2. Add sabut jeera , laung , and Bayleaf.
  3. Add minced onions n ginger, Garlic paste.
  4. Now add red chilli sabut
  5. Saute till brownish in color
  6. Add pureed tomatoes and Tomato ketchup and stir well.
  7. Add turmeric powder, red Chilli powder, and coriander powder and salt to taste.
  8. Add garam masala now.
  9. Mix well n cover the pan with lid and cook on slow flame for 8-10 minutes.
  10. Now add the fresh malai n Paneer cubes.
  11. And kasuri methi . Stirr gently
  12. Check n adjust salt n spices.
  13. Cover the pan with lid n cook On slow flame for 8-10 min.
  14. Switch off the gas and transfer the dish in the serving bowl.
  15. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves n serve hot

i guess if we add lil fried paneer taste may improve lil
