Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dressed Chicken in bones 600-700 gms
  2. Diced onion 1.5 cup
  3. Diced capsicum 1 cup
  4. Diced carrot 1 cup
  5. Garlic cloves 10-12
  6. Chopped green chillies 3-4
  7. Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  8. Turmeric 1 pinch
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. Oil to cook
  11. Sauces - tomato, chilly, soya, white vinegar
  12. Cornflour 2 Tsp
  13. Kashmiri mirch powder 2tsp


  1. Marinade the chicken with cornflour, egg, all sauces, pinch of turmeric, salt and pepper, ginger garlic paste.
  2. Cover the marination and leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  4. For gravy: In a wok, put 2 tbsp oil and heat.
  5. After oil is heated, put the garlic cloves and green chillies. Sauté for 10 seconds.
  6. Then add diced onion and sauté until they become translucent.
  7. Add carrots and capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and mix.
  9. Then add pinch of turmeric and mix.
  10. After that add all the 4 sauces, salt and pepper appropriately.
  11. Make a solution of cornflour and kashmiri mirch powder in a bowl. Add this solution in the wok.
  12. Once it thickens, add water and Keep stirring.
  13. Now add the fried chicken pieces to the gravy and bring to a boil.
  14. Take off the flame. Garnish with sting onion greens.
