ABOUT SUGAR-FREE PIYUSH DRINK RECIPE

Piyush is a thick yogurt based summer drink prepared with shrikhand, milk and nuts. This dessert drink is rich, creamy and delicious than lassi and famous in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Shrikhand – 1/2 cup
  2. Milk – 1 cup
  3. Curd / yogurt – 3 tbsp
  4. Honey – 3 tbsp
  5. Cardamom – 3
  6. Saffron – generous pinch
  7. Pistachios – for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Keep all the ingredients ready.
  2. Take a wide mixing bowl and add shrikhand, curd, milk, honey, saffron and crushed cardamom to it.
  3. Mix everything together with whisk or hand blender until creamy.
  4. Pour into serving glass and garnish with chopped pistachios.
  5. Serve as such or chilled and enjoy.
