Ingredients to make Poha chivda

  • Thick Poha - 2 cups
  • chana Daal - 2 tsps
  • Sauf - 2 tsps
  • peanuts - 2 tsps
  • cashewnuts - 15
  • curry leaves - few springs
  • red chilli powder - 1 to 2 tsps
  • salt to taste
  • sugar - 1tsp

How to make Poha chivda

  1. Keep oil for deep frying
  2. Fry the Poha and keep aside on a kitchen tissue
  3. Now keep frying every item individually in hot oil and drain on tissue
  4. Add the fried nuts, chana daal to the fried Poha
  5. Add salt, fried curry leaves, fried saunf, red chilli powder to the mixture
  6. Sprinkle sugar
  7. Mix well. Ready to eat.

My Tip:

Easiest basic Poha chivda. Can increase or decrease spice quantity or add kishmish and make more variations.
