ABOUT Fresh Banana and Oats Pancake RECIPE

Maa suggested me to have oats and banana and immediately I decided to make some pancakes with banana, oats and egg, which would be easy to make and same time healthy and filling too! Those who are vegetarian may skip egg. It is as good as without egg too. The first meal of the day should be protein packed and full of nutrients. Here is a very easy and healthy pancake recipe I’m sharing today…

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole Wheat Flour – ½ cup
  2. Quick-Cooking Oats – ½ cup
  3. Baking Powder – ½ tsp
  4. Sugar – 1 tsp
  5. Cinnamon Powder – ¼ tsp
  6. Nutmeg Powder – 2-3 fat pinches
  7. Fat-Free Milk – 1 cup
  8. egg – 1
  9. Oil – 1 tsp
  10. Butter – 1 tbsp
  11. Banana – 1 (Sliced)
  12. Dabur Honey – ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients except bananas and sugar in medium bowl until blended.
  2. Slice the banana.
  3. Ladle batter onto non stick hot griddle or into hot skillet sprayed with cooking spray, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake; cook until bubbles form on tops.
  4. Place 4-5 slices of banana on the top of the pancake and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
  5. Flip the pancake upside down and add a little butter on the pan. Butter will help the sugar to get caramelized and will give a very good taste and nice brown colour on the top.
  6. Again turn the pancake and serve hot with some Dabur Honey.
