ABOUT Oats almond jaggery honey cookies RECIPE

No butter no sugar totally guilt free and delicious cookies. I have used honey and organic jaggery powder to make the cookies sweet. Oats, jaggery, honey and almond made the cookies delicious and healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Oats 1 cup
  2. Whole Wheat flour 1/2 cup
  3. Honey 1/4 cup
  4. Almond 1/4 cup
  5. Desiccated coconut 1/4 cup
  6. Jaggery or gur powder 1/2 cup
  7. Oil 1/4 cup
  8. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 170°for 10 minutes.
  2. Grease or line a baking tray with parchment paper or aluminium foil.
  3. Grind the almonds and oats into fine powder.
  4. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients with almond and oats powder.
  5. Combine and mix everything well. Don't knead much.
  6. Make small balls and lightly press with your palm.
  7. Place on the baking tray 1 inch apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges becomes brown.
  9. Cookies will be soft when hot so let them cool down completely.
  10. Serve or store in airtight container for later use
